Unless otherwise noted all events take place in the Columbus Art Gallery, located in the lower level of the Columbus Public Library. Admission to the Art Gallery is FREE and open to the public.

EXHIBIT: Ernestine Quick Memorial Competition/Exhibition

EXHIBIT: MONA Traveling Exhibit
Contemporary Artwork by Nebraska Artists from the Museum of Nebraska Art [MONA].
Today’s Nebraska artists are known regionally, nationally, and even internationally. This exhibition features works by living Nebraska artists who live, work, and thrive beyond the boundaries of Nebraska. Sponsored by Columbus Bank & Trust

Annual Destination Dinner: Going Greek
Elk's Country Club, Columbus ~ 6:30-9:00 pm
We invite you to attend this annual dinner where we explore foods and culture of a new country or city each year. 2010's destination is the Greek Isles. Entertainment will be the Athenian Folk Dance Group  from St. John The Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, Omaha.

Tickets are $37.50 per person or $75 per couple. Tickets are limited so please stop down to the Columbus Art Gallery or call  (402) 563-1016 to reserve yours.

Bus trip to attend a performance of the Broadway musical South Pacific.
Rodgers & Hammerstein's musical will light up the stage of the Lied Center in Lincoln. Considered by many to be the finest musical ever written, the score's songs include classics such as "Some Enchanted Evening", "A Wonderful Guy" and "Younger Than Springtime". Tickets are $80 for members & $90 for non-members.

Bus trip to attend a performance by cellist Yo Yo Ma
"Multiple Grammy-winning cellist Yo-Yo Ma remains one of the best-selling recording artists in the classical field. His many-faceted career is testament to his continual search for new ways to communicate with audiences, and to his personal desire for artistic growth and renewal. He will be joined by pianist Kathryn Stott. The Hempstead Players
The theater group The Hempstead Players will be in local elementary schools putting on performances of The Secret Garden or Shakespeare for Kids.
The Secret Garden:
This is an enchanting story about a young orphan girl who comes to live with her uncle in the English countryside. Through her curiosity she finds a garden filled with memories.
Shakespeare for Kids: Shakespeare's works come to life through humor, imagination and swordplay.
Free public performance: March 25. 6:30 pm.  Middle School gym floor. This performance will be Shakespeare for kids.
